Southern Sandoval Investments, Ltd. (SSI Ltd.), is the Santa Ana Pueblo's development corporation. In 1982, the Tribal Council organized SSI, Ltd. to interface with individuals and organizations pursuing economic development opportunities at Santa Ana. |

Under a 99-year master business lease between the tribe and SSI, Ltd., four projects have been developed. The first project was the four-star Prairie Star Restaurant, next a 60 unit mobile home village, then a 27 hole championship golf course and finally the home of the Santa Ana Star Class III casino was built. |

With several successful development projects operating, SSI, Ltd. is focusing on recreation/leisure business development to compliment the existing business base. A six million-dollar infrastructure project is under construction and scheduled for completion in the fall of 1998. Completion of this project will allow for development of additional restaurant facilities, retail shops and lodging facilities. Santa Ana is currently negotiating a management agreement for a planned destination resort at Santa Ana. SSI, Ltd. will consider new development opportunities including joint venture partnerships, direct land sub-leases, and management contracts for tribal owned businesses. |
